Olson Approved As County Fire Warden

The Roosevelt County Commissioners held their regular public meeting Tuesday, Feb. 5, at the commissioners’ office in Wolf Point. Commissioners Gary Macdonald, Duane Nygaard and Gordon Oelkers were in attendance.
Culbertson’s Mike Olson was unanimously approved as county fire warden.

Fabric Attic To Close, Online Sales Continue

Wolf Point’s Rita Hardy will likely fall just short of the 10-year mark at her 224 Main St. location if the Fabric Attic closes on schedule in April.

Department Of Revenue Ends Lease With County

The Roosevelt County Commissioners held their regular public meeting at the commissioners office in Wolf Point Tuesday, Jan. 22. Commissioners Gary Macdonald and Gordon Oelkers were in attendance.
The Montana Department of Revenue terminated its lease with the county for a space in the courthouse building, according to a letter from department director Gene Walborn dated Jan. 14.

Government Reopens For Now

The record-setting government shutdown is officially over, at least temporarily. President Donald Trump agreed Jan. 25 to reopen the government for three weeks while negotiations continue over a proposed border wall and border security generally. The government was shut down for an unprecedented 35 days.
