Delphine LeMay

Delphine Florence Littlehead LeMay, 83, died in Great Falls on April 28, 2019. She was born Oct. 25, 1935, in Riverside to Benjamin and Evangeline “Bessie” Littlehead Cloud. She attended Brockton Schools and earned an accounting degree at Billings Business College.
She started her career as an accounting tech and finished her career as a financial management officer with Indian Health Services. Service units included Billings; Portland, Ore.; Anchorage, Alaska; Window Rock, Ariz.; Albuquerque, N.M.; and ending her career with IHS in Rockville, Md. She then moved back to the Fort Peck reservation and worked with the Tribal Health and Spotted Bull Recovery Center.
She was a member of the Makaicu Presbyterian Church and loved watching all sports. She especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren participate in extracurricular activities and the youth associations.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick James LeMay; sisters, Romaine Firemoon, Amanda Bighorn, Ginger Littlehead and Elizabeth “Betty” Iron Ring; brother, Arnold Littlehead; sons, Fredrick LeMay and Edward Harilton; and daughters, Francine LeMay and Laurie Hamilton.
She is survived by her daughters, Fayda F. Simmons, Floreen Person, Deanne Eagle and Fonda K. Flores; son, Edward Doyle LeMay; sisters, Velma Nepsted and Elaine Little Head; 22 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 7, at the Brockton Cultural Center. Interment was at Riverside Family Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.
